Get your hands dirty and celebrate our school’s first of many community initiatives!
Founders Jeff, Calder and Jocelyn along with friends and family of the Vancouver Outdoor School will be gathering Wednesday, April 8 between 5:00 and 6:30 pm to plant our 10 new garden plots at 2781 Commercial Drive (corner of Commercial Drive and 12th Ave, across from Bandidas restaurant — see map here).
The group will clear off the hay winter bedding, pull up old plants, add fresh compost and soil, plant fresh seedlings and seeds, label the rows and take photos!
If you’re able to join us, bring along a spade or shovel and some gardening gloves. But if you don’t have any of that, just come say hi. Happy Spring, everyone!
